We would meet together for an initial consultation and then agree a number of sessions we would start with. Counselling normally takes place at the same time every week and sessions last 50 minutes. There is no ideal duration to the work. We can have a few sessions or work together at a slower pace. My fees are £60 a session. Couple therapy is £80 a session. When working with children I would meet with parents or carers initially before starting and if appropriate session times might be slightly shorter with a reduction in cost.
